We’ve chosen to bottle our personal care products in amber to look good, and we really hope you agree. Amber also sets our hand and body washes apart from everything in our home cleaning range.
But there’s more….. SimplyClean Lemon Myrtle Hand Soap, and Lemon Myrtle and Peppermint Body Washes, are also going colour free!
We’ve always coloured our personal care products with a tiny amount of food-grade colour, purely to even out the colour differences in the lemon myrtle oil we use between seasons and as it changes over time in the bottled product.
Throughout the year lemon myrtle oil varies from golden yellow to just a pale hint of primrose. This variation is completely natural but might cause some customers to worry that a batch is “off” or “different to normal” when it’s sitting on the shelf in your usual store. Our new amber bottles protect the lemon myrtle oil from sunlight, and no one has to worry about colour differences anymore.
Having one less ingredient, however tiny, is part of our commitment to using only necessary ingredients and absolutely no fillers, in all our SimplyClean products.
